Fresh from having picked up the Bronze Award for Interior Decoration at FESPA International in Munich this Spring, Digital Plus have now been awarded the “Large Format Printer of the Year 2014″ for the third year running at the ‘Digital Printer Awards’.
Both Directors, Chris Stringwell and Owen Russell, travelled to London for the Awards Ceremony in Grosvenor Square. A lavish luncheon was served followed by the presentation of awards from England Rugby World Cup winner Will Greenwood MBE (left).
The entry this year was for a project designed by Blue the Design Company, based in North Yorkshire, for the refurbishment of The Killhope Lead Mining Visitor Centre. This entailed the printing of over some 300 square meters of print direct to PVC and floor graphic vinyls along with a very complex installation. The judges said ” An inspired use of wide format technology to create a unique digitally printed space”
All our members of staff along with both clients involved are ecstatic at this Award and the achievement of winning for the third year in a row.
